Shalom and welcome to Temple Beth Joseph. We are a friendly, participatory, committed Conservative Jewish community located in Herkimer, New York - the heart of New York State’s scenic Mohawk River Valley and the gateway to New York’s Adirondack Mts.

We are an egalitarian Conservative synagogue affiliated with The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. We welcome Jews of all stripes. Please join us for an Erev Shabbat service any Friday evening. We are big enough to serve and small enough to enjoy. Come visit us.
